The City of Cockburn required a section of their stormwater drainage to be upgraded to ensure the ongoing operational performance of the City’s infrastructure. TCD submitted an alternate bid for the supply and installation of a FRÄNKISCHE’s Rigofill ST-B stormwater storage infiltration unit. The unit installed has a storage capacity of 186m³. This unit is a highly durable and hard-wearing storage / infiltration unit for the construction of gravel-free swales for infiltration, retention and storage of stormwater.
The full scope of the contract included:
- Removal, stockpiling and shredding of vegetation, disposal of rubbish, fences, debris and other deleterious material.
- Setting out and construction of stormwater drains, pits and basins.
- Locating and protection of underground utility services.
- Fully reinstate the site and leave the works in a neat and tidy condition.
- Provision of “As Constructed” plans for submission to the Local Authority for roads, drainage, earthworks and retaining walls.
